This lovely apartment is located in front of the beach at Praia de Salema, facing south, with breathtaking views over Salema beach and the ocean. The property has direct access to the beach in front of you, just a few steps and you have the sand between your toes.

The Interior:

Casa Estrela do Mar is made up of two quaint fishermen townhouses (house 1 and house 2) located in the centre of the old village of Salema.

Maintaining the existing typical structural design, the two buildings have been merged to create an original complex made up of two annexes. This allows for a family of four or two couples to enjoy the typical village life, right on the beach.

House 1: There is an elevator connecting the entrance level and the first floor. On the ground floor are a bright and fully equipped kitchen and a small staircase leading to one of the ensuite bedrooms. The ensuite Master bedroom has stunning views of the beach and the Atlantic Ocean is right in front of you. This bedroom has a king-size bed, flat-screen TV, ensuite shower room, and electric curtains.

Access to House Nº 2 is from the outside, across a small path.

House 2: Directly accessible from the street, House Nº 2 is an independent annex located across from House Nº 1. Fully facing the beach (only 3 meters apart), it has outstanding views of the beach in front and allows for comfortable living. It features a small kitchen equipped with a freezer and coffee machine. Open space dining and lounge, dining area with table and chairs for six people, large living room with a flat-screen TV, electric blinds, and curtains. There is also a WC.

The Exterior:

Access to the rooftop terrace of House Nº 2 is via a glass bridge. The terrace features a BBQ, a table with chairs for four people, sun loungers, and a sunshade. The terraces offer a spectacular setting overlooking the beach.

The terraces are fully furnished with a lounge area, sun loungers, and parasols. Just in front of the apartment, you have direct access to the beach.

The Location:

Known for the beautiful unspoiled beaches. Salema is a must for those of you who are beach lovers and wish to get away from it all. The sandy beach is gently sloping, ideal for swimming, and safe for children. There is a service of a lifeguard in the summer months. The seawater quality is excellent.

There are a couple of bars and restaurants in Salema, a handful of gift shops, and some convenience stores. The city of Lagos to the east and Sagres to the West are just 15 km away. The west coast of the Algarve can be reached in about 15 minutes by car. There you can find sandy beaches stretching down the cliffs for miles. If you want to do more than just lie on the beach there are golf, tennis courts, spas, horseback riding, boats, and places to walk all within a few miles. From the beach cliffs, there are also great launching points for practicing paragliding.

About 300m beneath the waters of Salema Beach you can also visit the French warship L’Ocean, sunk during the Seven Years’ War.
