Casa Mariana is located in the beautiful and peaceful Lakeside Resort in Quinta do Lago. Here you have free access a communal pool & tennis courts,also you are within walking distance to the lake, water sports, and a variety of restaurants. This villa is perfect for families, with a welcoming atmosphere.

The Interior:

Set over 3 floors this lovely 4-bedroom property is furnished in a modern, neutral way. On the ground floor, you will find a lovely fully equipped kitchen. There is also a lounge and dining area with doors leading onto the poolside terrace. Also on this floor is a twin bedroom (beds pushed together) that is serviced with a septate shower room.

On the first floor you will find the master bedroom that has a double bed and an ensuite shower room. This room also has a large balcony overlooking the pool and across to the ocean.

The remaining 2 bedrooms are on the lower floor, one is a double room with a separate shower room and the other is an ensuite twin room (beds pushed together).

Exterior:

Outside there is a terrace that surrounds the private pool. There is also a dining area, a gas BBQ, and plenty of sun loungers to relax and enjoy the sunshine! The communal pool is a short walk from the villa plus complimentary access to the tennis courts also.

Location:

Casa Mariana at the Lakeside resort is in a fantastic location in Quinta do Lago, being close to the lake/water sports centre where you will also find popular spots including The Shack and Casa do Lago.

Catering for water sports enthusiasts of all ages, there is a fabulous choice of both lake and beach activities. Windsurfing, canoeing, kayaking, and rowing are available on the lake, as well as sailing and water skiing. Other sports from the beachside area of the lake include the Aquapark, parasailing, and jet-skiing, or if you want something more relaxing, why not try out a pedalo boat? From here you can also access the Boardwalk which goes from Quinta do Lago to Vale do Lobo, along the sand dunes and passing some very popular restaurants. Also close by is the state-of-the-art sports centre ‘The Campus’, which is popular for athletes and sports enthusiasts of all ages and abilities. Sports include tennis, gym, padel, swimming, cycling, exercise classes, and personal training.

Property Rules

Strictly no smoking and no pets.

No groups of young adults under 25 permitted.

We do try to keep the photographs and descriptions up to date, however, furnishings, the layout and décor can sometimes change before information is updated here. The information provided is a guideline only.

On public holidays there is no maid service.

The booking fee is charged by the manager in charge of the property to cover administrative costs through the booking process (including the processing of guest data and tourist tax) pre and post holiday. The charge is £125 (non refundable) and is to be paid with the balance of your holiday.

Bookings that fall in the winter sun category will have a mandatory charge for the utility bills. A meter reading is taken on your arrival day and then again on departure day. This is so the property manager can keep the cost of the property rental down; then only charge guests their utility usage rather than add a standard charge to the property rental price. Should you book pool heating there will be an activation fee (as shown in the extras section) as this is turned on at least 2 days before arrival/before the meter reading.

Please note, when booking pool heating the water temperature is dependent on the weather. If the weather is windy, raining and/or the evenings are colder this may mean the pool heating won’t be as effective. . We cannot guarantee the temperature of the water.

From 01 November 2024 a Mandatory tourist tax is charged to guests by the local council and must be paid before entry into Portugal. For arrivals between the 01 April – 31 October the charge is €10 per person and from 01 November – 31 March the charge is €5 per person. The charge is for each person 16 years and older at the time of travel and is due 10 weeks before arrival along with the balance payment for your holiday.

Cancellation Policy

Deposit is non-refundable.

50 % of the stay is refunded for cancellations done prior than 57 – 69 days before arrival day.

25% of the stay is refunded for cancellations done prior than 43 – 56 days before arrival day.

The full amount is retained for cancellations within 42 days.
